Being Santa

Being Santa, The Author served in Vietnam from June 5, 1967, to July 7, 1968, 13 months. While serving in the Mekong Delta, he was acquainted with some orphans at an orphanage in My Tho Vietnam. The Author’s first book, “You Are Never Alone,” will give you more details of his tour and the part these orphans played in his life.

That experience and love of children extended to the job of a lifetime, being Santa Claus. When asked how many children you have? He answers, “Oh… about 25 thousand! They range from age five days to 97 years of age.”

This book was about the Author’s experience as Santa Claus, which found that children of all ages have wishes at Christmas, but many were concerned with family and world problems. Many times, the Author felt like he was a counselor.
